Academic Affair Committee:
 
The Academic Affair Committee is responsible for coordinating and planning any academic event designed to recruit and/or retain current and future BLSA members, particularly incoming students.

Awards Committee:

 

The Awards Committee is responsible for coordinating and preparing all materials and members to compete in the SRBLSA Chapter of the Year competition and other competitions.

Black History Committee:

 

The Black History Committee is responsible for coordinating and planning Black History Month [February] events designed to inspire and teach the student body about current and past achievements within and directly relating to the Black community.

Budget Committee:

 

The Budget Committee is responsible for coordinating and implementing the budget designed to ensure the most effective use of resources to be used by the General Body. The Committee is also responsible for submitting the budget to LSC/COGS prior to the allocation of monies.

College Student Division Committee:

 

The College Student Division Committee is responsible for coordinating and planning events designed to aid the College Student Division of BLSA at FSU or any other undergraduate student interested in the legal profession.

Community Service Committee:

 

The Community Service Committee is responsible for coordinating and planning any event designed to initiate community service projects and/or support the efforts of other groups with similar interests and goals.

Fundraising Committee:

 

The Fundraising Committee is responsible for coordinating and planning any event designed to raise funds for the BLSA treasury.

Social Committee:

 

The Social Committee is responsible for coordinating and planning any social event designed to stimulate the interest of the general membership and promote fellowship.

Social Justice Committee:

 

The Social Justice Committee is responsible for coordinating and planning any event designed specifically to address the issues of the Black community.

Trial/Appellate Advocacy Committee:

 

The Trial/Appellate Advocacy Committee is responsible for the coordination and governance of all activities associated with all aspects of the regional/national mock trial and moot court competitions associated with BLSA.
